The customer can use the examples on this page to aid in understanding the kinds of techniques that can be used to produce various display effects. If the customer desires to produce the major portion of his web site design himself, this page reveals many techniques to consider in creating his design.
Each example will have a return link in the upper right corner of the web page that returns to this web page. This web page may have new examples added from time to time to illustrate various web design techniques
- Example 1
- A single web page design that illustrates the use of graphics for the header logo, background, and creation of rounded corners.
- Example 2
- A web page design that illustrates the use of lots of graphics. This design loads slowly because of the size of the web page header and the content watermark background. On a dial-up connection, it would probably be too slow in loading. It also illustrates the use of roll over menu buttons that display content in another part of the web page. A good looking header can be created by utilizing a series of pictures that relate to your business; and by controlling the size of all graphics, the load time can be made very acceptable.
